Plasma cutting
Plasma cutting is a type of metal processing in which a plasma jet is used instead of a cutter.
Plasma cutting technology is based on the use of a direct-current air-plasma arc. The essence of the plasma cutting process is the local melting and blowing of the molten material from the cut cavity.
JSC "REMIZ" offers services of plasma cutting of metal according to customer's drawings.
Plasma cutting is performed using high-tech equipment by specialists of our company.
Advantages of plasma cutting:
- along with the processing of structural steels, stainless steels, aluminum are also processed;
- cutting speed is higher than flame cutting;
- small and local heating of the workpiece being cut, excluding its thermal deformation;
- process safety (no need for compressed oxygen cylinders, combustible gas, etc.)
- automation of the cutting process.
EQUIPMENT:
- Plasma cutting is performed on a CNC machine equipped with a KORSARAS-7113P air-plasma cutting machine.
- The machine allows cutting almost any complexity.
- A special cutting optimization program is used, thanks to which it is possible to significantly save material.
- The maximum size of the cut sheet is 2300x6000mm, the thickness of the sheet is up to 14 mm.
